FRANK GEHRY

Frank Gehry was born in Toronto in 1929 and studied architecture at the University of California before embarking on an urban planning degree at Harvard University. Being without doubt one of the world's foremost architects, Gehry has an eccentric, artistically influenced style. He has produced sensationally iconic buildings such as the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein and the Guggenheim in Bilbao, earning a reputation as one of the most original minds in contemporary architecture. Gehry also mastered furniture design, producing famous pieces such as the Wiggle Chair and the Little Beaver Chair for Vitra.
