The Robie 1 Chair was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the dining room of the Frederick C. Robie House in Chicago. Vertical lines accentuate the extra high back and reflect his philosophy of 'Organic Design'. Wright opted for a similar chair in his own home, Oak Park House, citing they created a more intimate setting.
The perfectly balanced geometric design of Robie 1 works in harmony with its environment and is available in natural cherrywood or with a stained walnut finish. The polyurethane foam seat pad n various fabrics and leathers in various colours.
The Robie 1 Dining Chair is part of the the "Cassina Maestri" collection. These are certified original designs, each of which is marked with the signature of the designer and the Cassina Maestri logo, together with the production number and identity card.
