Description

The Callimaco LED Floor Lamp, designed by Ettore Sottsass for Artemide, was originally released in 1982 and later again in 2010. Abstract and minimalist, this design classic is characterised by a mix of painted hues to distinguish its components and uncomplicated elements. The composition of linear and cylinder forms has stripped the light of any unnecessary decoration and instead focused upon the importance of functionality. Callimaco enforces the notion that simple design is always the most effective.

Offering indirect light, an atmospheric setting is created. A polished chromed handle is integrated into the stem of the body making it easy to adjust the position if necessary. The red diffuser, yellow stem and grey base each have a polished/ glossy finish.

A dimmer switch is incorporated into the body allowing light to adapted to the required intensity and it now comes with LED incorporated into the design.
