The true heart of this design lies in the brass melodic whistle which has two pipes which sound two notes - 'mi' and 'si' - when the steam flows, giving the kettle a particularly attractive melody. Sapper wanted to avoid giving the kettle the usual irksome sound of other kettles on the market and this purely musical requirement led to Alessi's first multi-sensorial design.
The Sapper Kettle also features a unique lever pull which raises the whistle away from the spout to enable filling. Infinitely appealing you can't fail to love this kettle. It can also be used on induction hobs.
